The Soundmaster SCD5800 is a compact boombox with 4 speakers and an output power of 2x 1.5 watts RMS. As a special gimmick, you can activate “LED disco light effects” on the boombox at the push of a button. This creates an additional atmosphere, especially at darker times of the day. The CD player with CD title programming and CD repeat function supports not only CD, CD-R/CD-RW but also the memory-saving format CD-MP3.

With this device you can not only play cassettes, but also record onto a blank audio cassette.
It doesn't matter whether you want to record the radio programs you are currently receiving or whether you want to transfer your favorite music from your USB stick to a cassette via the USB port. You can also use the included microphone as a recording source to record on your empty audio cassettes.

If you prefer to listen to FM radio, the extendable telescopic antenna ensures crystal-clear reception. To round off the range of functions, the SCD5800 also has a headphone jack.

Using the microphone: You can record the music from the CD onto a blank cassette, including the recording from the microphone. The microphone alone cannot create a recording on cassette. It also functions as a pure sing-along function, just like karaoke.

The device can be operated using the included power supply and batteries (DC 9 V, 6 x UM-2/C 1.5 V, not included).
